Residential

Encountering the Father’s Love Residential

In addition to the Bath ‘Encountering the Father’s Love’ schools, we run a residential school at the Lox Lane Christian Centre in Shaftesbury, Dorset.

These residential schools have been running since 2010 (originally under the banner of ” Eagles Wings School of the Heart”). Since that time we have held 17 schools with over 200 students from six continents representing more than 25 nations.

A three week school?

Setting aside three weeks is a significant commitment, but one that we see bearing fruit time and again. The school is a safe place to worship, to learn of the Father’s love, to pray through issues with a facilitator and allow time for God’s goodness to really sink in. It is a fabulous way to see real change in your life in a lovely peaceful setting in the Dorset countryside.

Programme

Each day starts with 45 minutes to an hour of worship because we believe that connecting with God and developing a life-giving intimate relationship with Him is vital to seeing the breakthrough and freedom we desire from various issues of the heart.

The curriculum for each of the schools is primarily the same, but it is adjusted and adapted to suit the needs of each school and has an emphasis on teaching and personal ministry in a safe environment. Drawing upon the expertise of people from around the UK and abroad, participants receive instruction on:

  • hearing God
  • getting to know the Father
  • receiving healing of the heart
  • flowing with the Holy Spirit
  • learning to live as sons and daughters and do the things that Jesus did

Leaders, staff, facilitators, and teachers aim to model a working style of unity, honour and flow of life that models these values to the students.
